Based out of Raleigh, NC this lively duo has been entertaining at theme festivals and folk music venues in the Carolinas and south Atlantic region since 2009.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
Thunder & Spice was born in 2009 at a Renaissance Faire in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

Since then, we’ve had a great time providing entertainment in a wide variety of musical styles and traditions for festivals and other venues in North Carolina and neighboring States.
MEET THE BAND
Dedly Ernest
Dedly being a pirate in Beaufort.
Dedly has been involved in music his whole life, performing in everything from a Chamber Music group and multiple musical theater productions, various a cappella groups and choirs, and a folk trio.
He’s this band’s lead vocalist and also plays guitar. Dedly lives in NC near Paprika with his puppy Colleen (a.k.a. “Spaz”) and Mouse, his kitten.

Mistress Paprika

Paprika has been a musician her whole life – performing on keyboards and percussion in various groups, including a Glenn-Miller type band.
She’s also been a vocalist in many choirs and multiple musical theater productions.
Paprika takes care of the band’s bookings and websites, too. She lives in NC with her indoor cat Furball, and her outdoor cat Sweetie Boy, close to where Dedly lives.
